Nilla Wafers was the first client of my social career. At VaynerMedia, we were tasked with rebranding their social presence to coincide with the rebranding of Nilla Wafers all together. This meant creating a new brand voice, new social icon, and new social strategy. My main priority was assisting in creating the editorial calendar as well as creating content for the channels. I also wrote social copy, did their community management, and ate more Nilla Wafers than I care to admit.
Their main priority was engaging organically on their Facebook; this included strategizing what kind of content works, content themes and posting cadence. I spear-headed all initiatives. I created graphics that would get the community engaged while also keeping Nilla Wafers’ brand in mind; mixing ‘just-for-fun’ posts with Nilla Wafer graphics and recipes.
